Sanperla is a visually stimulating solid wood bench designed with two modes of storage accessed from the top and bottom. The top is Ideal for coats and accessories, while the bottom works as hidden storage for shoes.

MOOD BOARD

The design of the front Panel is based on the Fibonacci principle as it appears in nature. But instead of being a predictable pattern, the lines are warped to create an opulent and intriguing movement within the structure. While appearing rigid, the body of the bench is comprised of many organic masses such as the lid with its scooping curves creating a comfortable seat. The legs of the bench recall the timelessness of Mid-century modern furniture as it makes its way back into current trends.

The wood veneers would be used on the legs and outer body to enhance the design in both strength and aesthetics by producing a light contrast from the natural hardwood carved surfaces.

The top level opens for easy access to the bottom storage via the slatted wood divider

The bottom storage opens from by pressing the bottom upwards to reveal shoe storage

3 inch gap from floor to to use foot to open and close bottom storage

MAGNETIC CATCH

WITH PLATE

The cabinet magnet helps keep the bottom closed when not in use. It is 32 mm and can hold 2 kgs each. There are 5 on the bottom that are assisted by the gas spring hinges.

The soft close Gas spring helps the top and bottom stay open and close gently without smashing fingers.

The storage divider helps separate clothes from shoes and hide unwanted items.
